Maeve is a sweet blind senior girl who got lost prior to the quarantine. She wandered around in a rainstorm before she was picked up and taken to a high kill shelter. The rain washed away all the familiar scents and she was unable to navigate home. Poor little thing waited for her family to save her, but no one ever came. We rescued Maeve and had her examined by our vet. She has a heart murmur, and the vet started her on medication. Maeve is a very loving little dog, loves to cuddle and sit by your side. Although she is blind, she quickly learned her foster mom's home and yard and navigates just fine. We believe she can still see light and dark. Maeve is happy, friendly and very devoted. She would be the perfect dog for someone who is retired or anyone who works from home. Maeve gets along well with her foster siblings, is house triained, spayed and fully vaccinated. Maeve would love to spend her golden years in a loving safe home. Adopting a senior dog is one of the most rewarding things you can do. They are so grateful and shower you with love.
