Bowie is an amazing young dog that had been living in a schoolyard during lockdown. Neighbors noticed him there for many weeks and called us to help. He didn't have a collar or chip. We don't know if Bowie was waiting at the school for his family to return, or was just living at the empty school for a quiet safe space. We had Bowie examined by our vet, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a loving, smart and attentive young boy. He loves to play with his foster siblings, is house trained, loves to cuddle and good with everyone he meets. Bowie is about 1 1/2 yrs old, weighs just 14 lbs and perfectly healthy. He's a young dog, and has energy to play, so would do best with another young dog his size. Bowie has a wonderful personality and brings a lot of joy into the home. If you'd like to meet this very special boy, please complete our adoption application found on dexterfoundation.com We're only adopting out to the Los Angeles area.
