Nugget is a happy boy
Bichon MaltiPoo boy loves to cuddle

Meet Nugget! We rescued this sweet 3 yr old Bichon Frise/ Maltese boy from a high kill shelter just in the nick of time. We took him to our vet for a full medical evaluation. Nugget has seizure disorder, but since starting his medication, Nugget has not had a single seizure! Seizures in small dogs are common and very easy to treat. The medication is inexpensive, and Nugget is great about taking pills. Just because someone isn't perfect doesn't mean they don't deserve to live and be loved!
Nugget loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. He gets along well with his foster siblings, is fully house trained and well mannered. He has a playful, happy personality and brings a lot of joy to his foster home. Nugget would be a great dog for anyone who works from home. He'll sit quietly by your side while you work, and give you all the love you deserve when you take a break! Nugget doesn't have any destructive habits like digging, barking or chewing. He's neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Email contactus@dexterfoundation.com if you'd like to meet Nugget!
